Sleeper Coffee

This is truly delicious coffee, masterfully made and infused with happiness. This beautiful, peaceful space is an oasis! Thank you Roxy, Pete, and staff for creating and embodying all that we long for in a community gathering place! Everything about Sleeper Coffee is healing and beautiful!

Very cool coffee shop. The decor is so funky! I had fun walking around and looking at all the decorations and plants, while waiting for my order. Americano was a tad watery. But the vegan chocolate case with berry icing was to die for. And I don’t even like chocolate cake! I want to go back to Astoria just for the cake at this coffee shop. I saw this little coffee shop during the River Run race and even though I didn't want to walk another inch after the race was done I'm so glad we did! I ordered a cinnamon dolce latte, which is my usual coffee order. However, this coffee was ten thousand times better than any I've had before. I want to say maybe THE best ever but that seems extreme so we'll go with top 1%. Can't wait to return.

We visit Astoria once a year. It’s our very favorite spot on the most northern end of the Oregon Coast. The big ship channel from the port into the river is something everyone visiting Oregon or Washington should see. And if you like coffee, Sleepers is the place to go. Our family of grown children love coffee. Actually, we live on coffee. We are without a doubt, coffee snobs. So when we discovered Sleepers at their former downtown location a year ago, we were thrilled. And to make it even better, they’ve moved to a location along the River pier. You can cosy up in their inviting sipping room and birdwatch and boat-watch to your heart’s content. The staff is very helpful and sweet. On this last visit a couple of weeks ago, we ordered coffee on two different days, and the baristas on duty each time were excellent. From our group of four, we each ordered something different. Everyone was happy as clams with their order. My oatmilk latte even had a gorgeous foamy rosette on the top—something difficult to accomplish with plant milk if you’ve ever tried. The drinks were piping hot, the coffee strong, and the ambience delightful. I use a wheelchair when I travel and this place is very accessible. There is an ADA parking spot and a ramp to the small plaza Sleepers is located in. Once inside, the halls are wide, and both restrooms are accessible. There was also plenty of room for my wheelchair in the sitting room. We are all looking forward to returning next year and visiting our favorite coffee shop in Astoria.

Like someone said, this place is magical. The coffee is great and the baristas are super friendly. The view over the water is amazing and the neighbors blowing bubbles was a nice bonus. I loved starting my day here

Best coffee shop on the entire North Coast. The kind that’s up there nationally. Bright and Open, Sprawling views of one of the most incredible river bars in the world, yet cozy and comfortable. Thoughtful coffee drinks, personal service, old fashioned connection. Consistent hours. Walkable to everything Astoria.

Absolutely love this place. Some of the best coffee if not the best I’ve ever had. Latte’s are so smooth and beyond spectacular. Shout out to Pete for being amazing. Vibe and energy is tops bro

If you're a regular in Astoria or just passing through this is a great spot to top up on your caffeine levels. Located right on the water a good spot for time with friends or to hash out a few emails at the bar top overlooking the water. We had the Zombie Matcha and Cinnamon Mocha, as well as a toasted bagel and a couple of muffins. All were good, the drinks are hand crafted and prepared with lots of care.
